Arguably Maharashtra’s best wildlife reserve, Tadoba - Andhari is the third Tiger Reserve of the state after Melghat and Pench to be added to the prestigious Project Tiger. Spread around the serene Tadoba lake, the beautiful deciduous forest consists of open meadows, undulating hills and some dense patches of Bamboo and Jamun, which is an ideal Tiger country. The forest supports a good variety of wildlife including the Tiger, Leopard, Jungle Cat, Wild Dog, Jackal, Sloth Bear, Mongoose, Wild Boar, Gaur, Spotted Deer, Sambar, Barking Deer, Porcupine, etc. Tadoba is home to around 250 species of birds including the rare Lesser Adjutant & the Grey-headed Fish Eagle. The forest has a good network of roads, which allows access to various parts of the reserve.

Day 1 : Pune - Nagpur
Departure from Pune by 12113 Nagpur Garibrath express (3AC) at 1740 hours.

Day 2 : Nagpur - Tadoba
Reach Nagpur by 0925 hours. Proceed to Tadoba by AC vehicles. Reach Tadoba by 1230 hours. Lunch and rest. Post lunch, an interactive orientation session to get introduced to the beautiful forest of Tadoba. Overnight stay at Tadoba.(Meals : Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Tea & Dinner)
Day 3 : Safaris at Tadoba
Explore different parts of Tadoba on morning and evening safaris. A knowledge - sharing session within the group in the evening, to know more about the wildlife seen during the first two safaris. Overnight stay at Tadoba.

Day 4 : Safaris at Tadoba
Two more safaris at Tadoba, to maximise the chances of tracking ‘The Big Cat’ as well. A Group Discussion about the safaris in the evening. Overnight stay at Tadoba.

Day 5 : Tadoba - Nagpur - Pune
Early morning wake - up call. Nature trail session to get acquainted with the lesser fauna and flora of the region. Departure to Nagpur after lunch at 1300 hours. Proceed to Pune by 12114 Pune Garibrath express (3AC) at 1835 hours.

Day 6 : Arrival at Pune
Reach Pune by 0945 hours.
