Jim Corbett is a name that commands awe and respect from the diverse strata of the society. The Jim Corbett Tiger Reserve is a tribute to the great hunter-turned-naturalist, whose study of the tiger remains unparalleled. The impressive Sal forests and the huge grasslands (Chaurs) provide a great opportunity to watch the abundant wildlife from close quarters. The Ramganga river which flows through the park is also home to some rare species like the Gharial, Marsh Crocodile and the Otter. Over 550 species of birds, including many uncommon varieties can be spotted here.

Itinerary

Day 1 : Fly to Delhi
Board late evening flight to Delhi.

Day 2 : Delhi - Kathgodam - Ramnagar
Arrive in Delhi and proceed to New Delhi Railway station. Board the 12040 New Delhi - Kathgodam Shatabdi Express (CC) to Kathgodam at 0600 hours. Breakfast on board the train. Reach Kathgodam by 1140 hours. En-route visit Jim Corbett’s residence at Kaladhungi. Check in into rooms and have lunch. Post lunch, an interactive orientation session to get introduced to the beautiful forest of Corbett. Overnight stay in a resort at Ramnagar.

Day 3 : Safaris at Corbett
Explore different parts of Corbett on morning and evening safaris. A knowledge - sharing session within the group in the evening, to know more about the wildlife seen during the first two safaris. Overnight stay in a resort at Ramnagar.

Day 4 : Safaris at Corbett
Check out from the resort and embark on a jeep safari via Dhangarhi gate into the heart of this exhilarating Tiger Reserve. Post the morning safari, check in at the Forest Department guest house, set in a picturesque location deep inside the forest. Lunch and rest. In the evening, get ready for yet another jeep safari and traverse through the famous grasslands of Dhikala, popularly known as the ‘chaur’. Return to the guest house by evening. A Group Discussion over tea / coffee about the day’s safaris, in the evening. Overnight stay at Forest Guest House inside the Corbett National Park.

Day 5 : Safaris at Corbett
Continue to explore the mesmerizing Corbett forest in 2 more safaris. Return to the guest house by evening. A Group Discussion over tea / coffee about the day’s safaris, in the evening. Overnight stay at Forest Guest House inside the Corbett National Park.

Day 6 : Safaris at Corbett - Leave for Ramnagar
The day’s jeep safaris take us to some of the unseen pockets of the Corbett Tiger Reserve, rated as the favourite for wildlife viewing by many of the visitors. Return to the Forest Guest House for breakfast and lunch. Post lunch, embark on the last safari and bid goodbye to the beautiful forest of Corbett. Check out via the Dhangarhi gate in the evening. Dinner at Ramnagar in a resort. Post dinner, proceed to Delhi at 2200 hours by 25014 Corbett Park Link Express (3AC). Overnight train travel.

Day 7 : Reach Delhi Airport - Return journey by flight
Early morning arrival in Delhi and transfer to Delhi Airport. Return journey by flight.

Early Bird Camp Fees : Rs.46,500/- + 5% GST per person
(Only for first 10 bookings (per departure) valid till 15th Dec 2019, applicable to camps travelling by flight.)

Dynamic Camp Fees : Select your departure date to check the best available DCF of the day.
(Dynamic Camp Fees (DCF) will ensure that you get the best airfare at all times. The airfare on the day of your booking will be applied to you. The closer to the camp date you book, the higher will be the airfare.)

What is included in the tour

  • Charges for air travel to and from Delhi.
  • AC Rail fare for Delhi - Kathgodam and Ramnagar - Delhi train travel.
  • Kathgodam to Ramnagar travel by AC vehicles.
  • Stay at Ramnagar in AC rooms for 2 nights on quadruple sharing basis.
  • Stay at Forest Guest House inside Corbett National Park on multiple sharing basis.
  • Charges for 8 safaris inside Corbett Tiger Reserve.
  • Food charges for the entire duration of the camp (except at Airports).
  • Travel Insurance for every participant.

What is NOT included in the tour

  • Mineral water / cold drinks / beverages during journey or at the campsite.
  • Personal expenditure of any kind. (Porterage, Telephone, Laundry, Room service, etc.). 
  • Medical Expenses if any / if incurred.
  • Expenses that are incurred due to reasons beyond the control of the organizers.
  • Any other charges not mentioned in “Charges Include”.

All our team members undertake refresher course at regular intervals and have hands-on experience in dealing with various situations.

Lady Instructor or Girl Volunteer:
