Pha Konda trek is a challenging yet highly rewarding trek. This is a scenic expedition and provides the perfect setting for photography enthusiasts and to those seeking adventure. The route takes travelers from Shuru base camp in Manali and winds through scenic valleys, rocky paths, lush green meadows toward the white-crested peak of Pha Konda (13,943 ft.). The views from the summit of Pha-Konda peak are exceptionally stunning and make for some spectacular photographs.

    Day 1 : Fly to Delhi airport - Delhi Local Sightseeing - Proceed to Manali
    Flight to Delhi. Post lunch, visit the popular attractions in Delhi till evening. Proceed to Manali in the late evening by AC Volvo coach. Dinner enroute. Overnight bus journey to Manali.

    Day 2 : Reach Manali - Ice breaking session 
    Reach base camp at Shuru village in Manali. Get introduced to fellow campers and participate in an orientation session in the evening. Overnight stay at the Shuru base camp. In the evening, embark on a short acclimatization trek around the campsite. Dinner and overnight stay at the Shuru base camp.

    Day 3 : Acclimatization Trek (7,200 ft. To 7,400 ft.) Trek time : 1.5 hours
    Today’s  second acclimatization trek will take us to a meadow amidst the silver fir. The trek ascends through a forest consisting of blue pine, cedar, oak and fir. The acclimatization trek is to check one’s physical stamina and get used to the altitude and climate. The route is dotted with lush green landscapes and stunning Himalayan flora and fauna, that will keep you mesmerized throughout the journey. Return to the base camp for lunch. We follow the principle of ‘Go Higher, Sleep Lower’ in mountaineering terms, which is the best way for acclimatizing to the Himalayan climate. The day concludes with piping hot dinner. Overnight stay at the Shuru base camp.

    Day 4 : Shuru Base Camp - Camp 1: Tilgan (8,106 ft.) Trek time : 5 hours
    Early morning wake up call, followed by a fun session of warm-up exercises. Post breakfast, trek via Sharvani Devi Temple, Arjun Gufa, Thakshak Nag Temple and Bhanara, through Bogi. Trek through beautiful apple orchards and forests of blue pine, cedar, oak, fir and chestnut. Reach the campsite at Tilgan, enjoy a hot lunch and rest. In the evening, engage in group activities. Dinner and overnight stay at Tilgan.

    Day 5 : Camp 1: Tilgan - Camp 2: Sarra Bogi (10,170 ft.) Trek time : 4 hours
    Today’s trek starts with a moderate section at the start, through a forest of silver fir, bhujpattar, oak and chestnut. The trek reaches above the tree line and traverses horizontally. Sarra Bogi is located in a grassy knoll at the foot of Pha-Konda pinnacle peak. From the camp, there is an enchanting view of the Dhauladhar range and its lofty mountain peaks - Hanuman Tibba, Shikhar-bay, Maker-bay and Friendship peaks. From the campsite enjoy a panoramic view of the Manali town and the valley below. Dinner and overnight stay at Sarra Bagi.

    Day 6 : Camp 2: Sarra Bogi - Camp 3: Teku Ri Tapri (11,975 ft.) Trek time: 5 hours
    The trek starts with a moderate section at the start, through a forest of silver fir, bhujpattar and altitude increases gradually. We will be negotiating today’s trek through big boulders of snow covered moraine. The trek route will be covered in snow. Reach the campsite Teku Ri Tapri for lunch. In the evening, explore the area around the campsite. Dinner and overnight stay at Teku Ri Tapri.

    Day 7 : Camp 3: Teku Ri Tapri – Summit Camp  (13,615 ft.) - Camp 4:  Koku Ka Nallah (9,680 ft.) Trek time:  6 hours
    On today’s trek maneuver your way through moraines and big boulders on the ascent to Pha Konda peak. This trek will test your endurance yet reward you with magnificent views from atop the summit. After enjoying the majestic view form the summit descend to camp 4 at Koku ka Nallah. Dinner and overnight stay at Koku Ka Nallah.

    Day 8 : Camp 4: Koku Ka Nallah - Base Camp via Chhalet Village 5 hours.
    Today’s trek takes us to the Shuru Base camp from Koku Ka Nallah with a descent of 05 hours. The zigzag route till Jamdagni Rishi Temple through apple orchards is indeed a sight to behold! Overnight stay at Shuru Base camp.

    Day 9 : Shopping at Manali Mall  Road - Depart for Delhi
    Wake-up call, followed by breakfast. Post breakfast, head out for a shopping spree to the colorful markets on Manali Mall road. Late afternoon, board the Volvo Coach for Delhi. Overnight bus journey to Delhi.

    Day 10 : Arrival at Delhi - Return journey by flight
    Early morning arrival in Delhi and transfer to Delhi airport. Return journey by flight.
