The Panna National Park is located in Panna and Chhatarpur districts of Madhya Pradesh in India. The Ken river, which flows through the park from south to north, is home to the Gharial and Mugger, and other aquatic fauna. It is also one of the least polluted rivers in the country and truly the lifeline of the park. Ken offers some of the most spectacular scenery to its visitors while it meanders for about 55 kms., through the national park.

The hot and dry climate of the summers along with the Vindhyan soils have led to the growth of teak and a dry deciduous forest has emerged. The grassland areas are home to the tiger, leopard, chital, chinkara, nilgai, sambhar and sloth bear.

The park is home to more than 200 species of birds including the bar-headed goose, Oriental Honey buzzard, eagles, vultures being some of the highlights.
