Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Dehradun & Drive to Rishikesh

  • Arrive at Dehradun airport and drive to Rishikesh.(1.5 hours) Approx.
  • If time permits, enjoy an evening walk by the Ganges or explore nearby ghats and local markets
  • Overnight stay in Rishikesh.

Day 2: Travel to Auli

  • Depart for Auli (approx. 7 hours, 265 km) with periodic breaks to stay refreshed and energized.Enjoy the scenic drive through the Garhwal Himalayas.
  • Pass through the Four Prayags, the sacred river confluences:
  • Devprayag – Confluence of Bhagirathi & Alaknanda
  • Rudraprayag – Confluence of Mandakini & Alaknanda
  • Karnaprayag – Confluence of Pindar & Alaknanda
  • Nandaprayag – Confluence of Nandakini & Alaknanda
  • Arrive at Auli, a breathtaking hill station renowned for its panoramic Himalayan views.
  • Overnight stay in Auli.

Day 3: Gurson Meadows Hike – Himalayan Panorama

  • After an early breakfast, drive to Auli Top for the trek.
  • Trek through scenic trails and dense forests to reach Gurson Meadows (Bugyal), a high-altitude alpine grassland.
  • Trek Duration: 3-4 hrs (Both ways)
  • Grade: Easy.
  • Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks, including Nanda Devi, Trishul, Hathi Parvat, and Dunagiri.
  • Have a packed or scenic lunch amidst the mountains.
  • Overnight stay in Auli.


Day 4: Badrinath, Mana & Joshimath

  • Early morning drive to Badrinath Temple for Darshan (approx. 2 hrs).
  • Visit Mana Village, including Saraswati River, Byas Gupha, and Ganesh Gupha.
  • Tea stop  at “Bharat ki Akhri Chai ki Dukaan”.
  • Optional hike to Vasudhara Falls (3–4 km one way).
  • Explore Joshimath: Kalpavruksh tree, Narasimha Temple, Shankaracharya Gaddi, and caves and return to Rishikesh.
  • Overnight stay at Rishikesh.

Day 5: Joshimath Exploration

Spend time exploring mythological and historical sites in Joshimath.

  • Kalpavruksh, the oldest documented tree in India.
  • Narasimha Temple, where Badrinath deity is worshiped during winter months.
  • Shankaracharya Gaddi, associated with Adi Shankaracharya.
  • Cave of a disciple of Adi Shankaracharya.

Day 6: Return to Rishikesh

  • Check out from the hotel and begin the journey back to Rishikesh.
  • Enjoy the scenic drive through the Garhwal Himalayas.
  • Arrive in Rishikesh and check in at your hotel.
  • Evening at leisure for a walk along the Ganges or visiting local markets.
  • Overnight stay in Rishikesh.

Day 7 :  Departure

  • Take in the last glimpses of Uttarakhand’s majestic landscapes.
  • Flight from Dehradun Airport (Jollygrant). (Drive of 1.5 hrs) approx.
