Jim Corbett is a name that commands quiet reverence across every corner of India, and the tiger reserve that carries it is a fitting tribute to the hunter-turned-naturalist whose study of the tiger remains unmatched to this day. This is India's oldest national park, and it shows in the richness of what it holds: mammals, reptiles, birds, and flora in a density few forests can match. The towering Sal forests give way to wide open grasslands, known locally as Chaurs, offering some of the best close-range wildlife viewing anywhere in the country. The Ramganga River winds through the park and shelters rarer species too, among them the Gharial, the Marsh Crocodile, and the elusive Otter.
For birders, Corbett is reason enough on its own. Over 550 species have been recorded here, from the common to the genuinely hard to spot, making it one of the finest birding destinations in India.

Reserving a room at the Forest Guest House within the Corbett Tiger Reserve is extremely challenging. Kindly plan and reserve your booking at least 60 days prior to your departure.
The demand for booking a room at the Dhikala/Gairal Forest Rest House is exceptionally high. These bookings are given out on a first-come, first-served basis. The sooner you plan and book, the more confident you can be of finalising your reservation!

Day 1: Delhi - Ramnagar
Assemble at Delhi Airport at 11:30 hrs and proceed to Ramnagar by Innova/Tempo Traveller. Arrive in Ramnagar by 18:00 hrs and check in at the resort. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the resort.

Day 2: Safaris at Jim Corbett National Park
Check out from the resort and embark on a morning jeep safari entering through the Dhangarhi Gate into the heart of this exhilarating Tiger Reserve. Post-safari, check in at the Forest Department Guest House, set in a picturesque location deep inside the forest. After lunch and some rest, head out for an evening jeep safari through the famous Dhikala grasslands (popularly known as the ‘Chaur’). Return to the guest house by evening for a group discussion over tea/coffee to review the day's sightings. Overnight stay at the Forest Guest House inside Corbett National Park.

Day 3: Safaris at Jim Corbett National Park
Today's jeep safaris will take us through some of the unseen pockets of Corbett Tiger Reserve, a favourite region for wildlife viewing. In the evening, gather for a group discussion to recap the day's experiences. Overnight stay at the Forest Guest House inside Corbett National Park.

Day 4: Morning Safari - Ramnagar - Overnight Train to Delhi
Enjoy your morning exploring the Corbett forest on a safari. Have breakfast at the forest guest house and check out. Depart for Ramnagar with an en-route safari. Check in at the resort in Ramnagar and head out for an evening drive into the rich, sal-dominated forest of the Bijrani Zone. After dinner, board the overnight train to Delhi at 22:00 hrs.

Day 5: Arrival in Delhi
Arrive in Delhi in the morning. The trip concludes with a group photo and fond memories from the ‘Land of Roar, Trumpet, and Song’!
