  • Itinerary

    Day 1: WINDHOEK
    Arrival in Windhoek. A short City tour of Windhoek time permitting. Dinner and overnight at Windhoek.
    (Meals included: Dinner)

    Day 2: SESRIEM
    Windhoek - Sossusvlei    -   350km - approximately 5 to 6 hours.


    After breakfast, depart to Sossusvlei. The route showcases the natural beauty of Namibia. Stay at Dead Valley Lodge inside the park to be able to explore and take photographs before sunrise and after sunset. All meals and overnight stay at Dead Valley Lodge.

    Day 3: SESRIEM
    Wake up early for breakfast and then head into Sossusvlei for some amazing pictures as the sun rises. Spend the morning in the beautiful Sossusvlei area, exploring the highlights: Sossusvlei, Dead Vlei, Dune 45, Elim Dune and the Sesriem Canyon. Return to the lodge for lunch and then head back into the park to snap some photos at sunset. All meals and overnight stay at Dead Valley Lodge.

    Day 4: SWAKOPMUND
    Sossusvlei - Walvis Bay    -    350km - approximately 5 to 6 hours.


    Depart after breakfast and head north to Solitaire, then west crossing the Tropic of Capricorn, through the Gaub and Kuiseb Canyons via the Namib Gravel Plains to the coast. Drive to Walvis Bay via Ganab to the Welwitschia Plains, Moon Landscape, and Swakopmund. The Namibian coastline is generally known as The Skeleton Coast due to the barren areas, shipwrecks, and, in days gone by, whale skeletons left on the beach. All meals and overnight stay at Swakopmund Suites.

    Day 5: TWYFELFONTEIN
    Swakopmund – Damaraland     -  445km - approximately 7 to 8 hours.


    Head north along the Skeleton Coast, via Henties Bay to visit the Cape Cross seal colony. Thereafter, proceed through wide open plains to Uis, then north to the Twyfelfontein area. Evening game drive around the Huab River to look for the Desert Elephants! Overnight stay at Twyfelfontein Adventure Camp.

    Day 6: TWYFELFONTEIN
    Breakfast at the camp. Visit the Twyfelfontein Rock Engravings as well as the interesting Organ Pipes rock formations and Burnt Mountain. Evening game drive around the Huab River to look for the Desert Elephants! Overnight stay at Twyfelfontein Adventure Camp.

    Day 7: ETOSHA SOUTH 
    Breakfast at the camp. Drive to the famed Etosha National Park! Evening game drive followed by dinner. Enjoy the waterhole at the lodge inside the park which is a great place for sightings, especially at night! Overnight stay at Okaukuejo resort located inside the national park.

    Day 8: ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
    Early breakfast at the lodge. Game drive to Eastern Etosha with packed lunch stopping at numerous waterholes along the way. We will have an exciting night game drive too! Dinner and overnight at Halali Resort.

    Day 9: OKONJIMA NATURE RESERVE 
    Etosha (central) - Okonjima   -  320km - approximately 3 to 4 hours.

    Breakfast at the resort. Head south via Otjiwarongo to Omaruku Mountains to Okonjima. Afternoon game drive at the Okonjima Game reserve. Dinner and overnight at Okonjima Plains Camp.

    Day 10: END OF ITINERARY
    Breakfast at the camp. Transfer to the Windhoek Airport. End of services.
