Day 1: Arrival in Vienna and then take a train to Passu    

  • Explore the beautiful city where three rivers meet.
     

  • Visit St. Stephen’s Cathedral and walk through the old town.
     

  • Get your bike fitted and meet the group.
     

  • Overnight stay in Passau.
     

 


 

Day 2: Passau → Danube Bend

Distance: Approx. 40 km.

  • Cycle along the peaceful Danube River.
     

  • Visit Engelhartszell Monastery and try local liqueurs.
     

  • Ride to the famous Schlögener Schlinge (Danube Loop).
     

  • Optional short hike to the viewpoint for great photos.
     

  • Overnight stay near the Danube Bend.
     

 


 

Day 3: Danube Bend → Linz

Distance: Approx. 55 km.

  • Ride past forests and small towns to Aschach.
     

  • Reach Linz, a mix of history and modern culture.
     

  • Visit the Ars Electronica Center or enjoy local food.
     

  • Overnight stay in Linz.
     

 


 

Day 4: Linz → Ardagger or Grein

Distance: Approx. 65 km.

  • Enjoy a smooth ride through the Machland region.
     

  • Optional stop at the Mauthausen Memorial.
     

  • Explore Grein, a small town with Austria’s oldest theatre.
     

  • Overnight stay in Ardagger or Grein.
     

 


 

Day 5: Ardagger/Grein → Spitz or Surroundings

Distance: Approx. 65 km.

  • Ride into the Wachau Valley, known for vineyards and castles.
     

  • Visit the amazing Melk Abbey on a hill above the river.
     

  • Pass by towns like Weissenkirchen and Dürnstein.
     

  • Overnight stay in Spitz or a nearby village.
     

 


 

Day 6: Spitz → Tulln

Distance: Approx. 60 km.

  • Continue through the beautiful Wachau wine region.
     

  • Visit the town of Krems and the hilltop Göttweig Abbey.
     

  • Arrive in Tulln, famous for flowers and artist Egon Schiele.
     

  • Overnight stay in Tulln.
     

 


 

Day 7: Tulln → Vienna

Distance: Approx. 40 km.

  • Last day of cycling!
     

  • Follow the river into Vienna, Austria’s grand capital.
     

  • Ride across the Danube Island into the city.
     

  • Explore the city: St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Hofburg Palace, and more.
     

  • Overnight stay in Vienna.
     

  • Optional farewell dinner at a traditional Viennese wine tavern (Heuriger).
     

 


 

Day 8: Departure from Vienna

  • No cycling today.
     

  • Enjoy breakfast and some last sightseeing or shopping.
     

  • Travel home by plane, or extend your stay in Vienna.
