Day 1: Arrival in Rajkot and Transfer to Gir
The group assembles at Rajkot Airport in the morning. Post breakfast proceed to Gir by AC vehicles. Arrival at Gir will be in the afternoon, followed by an introduction and orientation session, and the first safari in Gir National Park.
Overnight stay at Gir.

Day 2: Safaris at Gir
An early morning wake-up call, followed by a safari to explore different parts of Gir National Park and Sanctuary. The group will also go on an evening safari. A knowledge-sharing session will be held in the evening, where students can discuss the observations made during both safaris.

Day 3: Safaris at Gir
Two more safaris are scheduled at Gir National Park, where students will implement practical techniques of observation and field-note recording to maximize the chances of tracking “The Big Cat.” In the evening, a group discussion will take place on the safaris and various approaches to animal conservation and monitoring.

Day 4: Departure to Rajkot
Early morning departure for Rajkot Airport. Return journey by flight to your destination.
