    Itinerary

    Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati & Transfer to Shillong
    Touch down in Guwahati and we take a scenic drive to Shillong, stopping at the picturesque Umiam Lake. In Shillong, we enjoy a leisurely stroll at Ward's Lake before checking into our hotel. Overnight in Shillong.

    Day 2: Shillong to Dawki/Shnongpdeng
    We depart for Dawki after breakfast. Along the way, we visit the serene Tyrshi Falls and the magical Krang Suri Falls, where we can take a refreshing dip. We enjoy a boat ride on the clear Umngot River at Shnongpdeng and relax by the riverside. Overnight stay at riverside camps in Shnongpdeng.

    Day 3: Shnongpdeng to Cherrapunji via Mawlynnong & Bamboo Trail
    Post breakfast, we drive to Mawlynnong, celebrated as Asia's cleanest village, to wander its tidy lanes and then take the short forest walk to the nearby Living Root Bridge to witness this remarkable bio-engineering marvel. We continue to Wahkhen for the famous Bamboo Trail, a scenic and gently adventurous trek over bamboo walkways and stairways that weave through lush valleys to viewpoints over waterfalls and rolling hills, before carrying on along misty highland roads to Cherrapunji for check-in and a relaxed evening at leisure. Overnight in Cherrapunji.

    Day 4: Trek to the Double-Decker Root Bridge & More
    We fuel up for an early start and trek to the iconic Double-Decker Living Root Bridge, where living rubber tree roots form a unique two-tier span. The challenging descent of 3,000 steps is a rewarding experience. If energy allows, we continue onward to Rainbow Falls to relax beside aquamarine pools before retracing our steps to Tyrna; time permitting, we may stop at Kynrem Falls on our return to Cherrapunji for a well-earned evening at leisure. Overnight in Cherrapunji.

    Day 5: Cherrapunji to Guwahati & Departure
    On our final day, we visit the majestic Nohkalikai Falls, India's tallest plunge waterfall, where the emerald pool contrasts dramatically with sheer cliffs, then continue to Arwah Cave to admire limestone formations and fossil impressions. Later we explore the ecological wonderland, the Garden of Caves, which boasts a series of spectacular caves, cascading waterfalls, and verdant landscapes. We enjoy a final panoramic view from the Mawkdok Dympep Valley Viewpoint before beginning our scenic drive back to Guwahati for departure.
