Overview

Step into the soul of Chikmagalur’s coffee country with Infinite Journeys. This thoughtfully designed fixed-departure tour takes you to Balur Estate, a 400-acre heritage coffee plantation growing Arabica coffee, pepper, vanilla, cardamom, and areca nut. Here, life slows down, the air smells of freshly roasted beans, and every corner tells a story of plantation legacy.

Your stay is in a charming 1853 colonial bungalow, offering just six beautifully restored rooms, spacious verandas, and peaceful courtyards. Far from commercial resorts and homestays, this is an authentic plantation experience where heritage, silence, and nature come together.

Each day unfolds at an unhurried pace—walk through coffee estates, sip freshly brewed plantation coffee, savour home-style Malnad cuisine, and relax by a warm bonfire under starry skies. With limited network access, this escape lets you disconnect from screens and reconnect with the outdoors.

Make the most of the long weekend! With 23rd to 26th January lined up as an extended holiday (24th & 25th being Saturday and Sunday, and 26th January a national holiday), it’s the perfect time to unwind.

Experience Chikmagalur’s rich coffee heritage, indulge in flavourful Malnad dishes, and enjoy a slow, meaningful holiday at Balur Estate — where colonial charm blends seamlessly with the aromas of Chikmagalur’s finest coffee.
