Each day begins with birdsong and ends with the hush of the pine forest settling into evening. Sattal sits among Asia's most biodiverse birding regions, where oak and pine woodlands, tranquil riversides, terraced farmland, and alpine meadows together create ideal conditions for spotting a wide range of species. On this tour, you may encounter the vivid Blue Whistling Thrush, the striking Chestnut-bellied Rock Thrush, the sociable Eurasian Jay and Black-headed Jay, and, with patience and a sharp eye, more elusive residents such as the Kalij Pheasant, Koklass Pheasant, and Cheer Pheasant.

Day 1: Delhi - Kathgodam - Sattal
Report at New Delhi Railway Station at 0530 hrs. Board train at 0620 hrs towards Kathgodam. Arrive at Kathgodam by noon and transfer to the comfortable camp in Sattal, enjoy a relaxing lunch, and settle in. In the evening, embark on your first birding session, a prime location for spotting diverse avian life. Overnight stay in Sattal.

Day 2: Morning & Evening Birding Trail
Start with a morning birding trail at Shyamkhet, renowned for its bird diversity followed by lunch. In the evening, continue bird watching along the scenic Chafi River.

Day 3: Morning & Evening Birding Trail
Rise and shine to the melodies of the forest! The morning unfolds with a birding excursion to Ranikhet, renowned for its rich variety of Himalayan birds. Return to Sattal for another birding trail in the evening. Overnight stay in Sattal.

Day 4: Morning & Evening Birding Trail
Morning birding session near Kathgodam, exploring diverse habitats and bird species. In the evening, walk through the serene Sattal forest trail. Overnight stay in Sattal.

Day 5: Morning Birding Trail and Return to Delhi
Visit Sattal in the morning for a final birding session, known for its birding hotspots. Afternoon transfer to Kathgodam Railway Station. Board Train at 3:20 PM. Arrival in Delhi at 8:55 PM, marking the conclusion of your unforgettable Sattal birding tour.
