The firefly season at Camp365 is from mid-May to mid-June, just before the monsoon. This is when you can witness the magical glow of thousands of fireflies in the Sahyadri Mountains.

2. Where is Camp365 located, and how do I get there?

Camp365 is nestled in the Maval region, about 60 kilometers from Pune and 120 kms from Mumbai. If you’re driving yourself, only the Jio network is available at the campsite, so it’s best to download an offline map. You can use this Google Maps link for directions.

3. What is included in the package?

The package includes travel by a chartered Non A/C bus (if you choose the transport option), evening tea with snacks, a buffet dinner (vegetarian and non-vegetarian options), a guided lakeside walk, an audiovisual presentation about fireflies, and assistance from experienced group leaders equipped with first aid.

4. What are the arrangements for people driving their own cars?

Self-drive participants must reach the campsite by 5:15 PM to join the High Tea. Detailed directions will be shared upon booking. Ensure you have a Jio SIM or offline maps ready.

During the "Dark Hour," all lights at the campsite are switched off to create complete darkness. This allows the fireflies’ glow to appear even brighter, making for a truly magical and memorable experience.

6. What should I bring with me?

Bring sturdy shoes, a 1-litre water bottle, a small torch or headtorch, a rain jacket or umbrella, any personal medication, a small backpack, a hat or cap, and a light snack. Avoid bringing valuables, large amounts of cash, loudspeakers, and strong perfumes or deodorants as these can deter fireflies and other wildlife.

High tea and a buffet dinner are provided, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian choices to suit different dietary preferences.

8. Is the event suitable for children and families?

Yes, the event is family-friendly and suitable for children. The guided walk and educational presentation make it a great learning experience for all ages.

9. What if it rains during the outing?

Rain is a natural part of the firefly experience! We’ll wait for the rain to subside, as fireflies often shine even brighter afterward. The campsite has a large covered area and raised tent platforms to keep everyone safe and comfortable during showers.

10. Is there mobile network coverage at the campsite?

Only the Jio network is available at Camp365. Please plan accordingly and download offline maps if you are self-driving.

11. Are there washroom facilities at the campsite?

Yes, common washroom facilities are available for all participants.

12. What is the cancellation policy?

You’ll receive a 75% refund if you cancel 8 or more days before the event, a 50% refund if you cancel 4 to 7 days before, and no refund for cancellations less than 3 days before the event or for no-shows.

13. Is the Firefly sighting guaranteed?

Firefly glow is a natural phenomenon and cannot be guaranteed. We schedule our outings during peak season and in optimal locations to maximise your chances, but the display depends on weather and natural conditions.

14. Can I play music or use loudspeakers at the campsite?

To maintain a peaceful atmosphere and not disturb the fireflies, loud music and loudspeakers are not allowed at the campsite.

15. Can we carry or consume alcohol/tobacco?

No. Foliage Outdoors maintains a strict no-alcohol and no-smoking policy. We request all participants to respect the family-friendly nature of the event.

16. Will there be large crowds at the campsite?

No, we keep our groups small to ensure a high-quality experience. Unlike other locations, our private property access is limited to preserve the guest experience. While weekends see higher activity, weekdays remain very peaceful. We recommend a weekday booking if you want the most exclusive and "private" feel!
