At an elevation of around 1,200 metres, the plateau offers much more than a colourful floral display. Look closely and you may discover carnivorous plants, delicate Impatiens, vibrant Smithia and beautiful orchids, while the surrounding landscape opens up to views of the lush evergreen forests of the Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary.
Kaas is part of the catchment area of the Koyna Dam and forms an important ecological landscape within the Western Ghats.

0600 hrs: Reporting at Foliage Outdoors Office, Kothrud
0615 hrs: Depart for Kaas Plateau by chartered A/C bus. Breakfast will be served en route.
0930 hrs - 1230 hrs: Explore Kaas Plateau and discover its seasonal wildflowers, endemic flora and unique Western Ghats landscape with our experts.
1230 hrs: Lunch and Rest.
1430 hrs: Depart for Pune. Evening Tea & snacks en route.
1830 hrs: Reach Pune.
