Day 1: Pratapgad Fort - The Stronghold of Bravery
Our journey begins early in the morning from Pune, with a delightful breakfast stop at the historic town of Wai. We then head to Pratapgad, a mountain fortress steeped in history and bravery. Explore the fort's intricate passages, ancient cannons, and breathtaking views. Learn about the daring tactics and military brilliance that shaped the course of Indian history. After a picnic lunch with stunning valley views, we’ll make our way to the base of Fort Raigad. Overnight Stay at a Hotel at the base of Raigad.

Day 2: Raigad Fort - The Crown Jewel of the Maratha Empire
The day begins with a thrilling ropeway ride up to Raigad Fort, the royal capital of Shivaji Maharaj’s empire. Discover the coronation site of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the serene Samadhi of the great Maratha warrior and explore the royal court where important decisions were made. Children will learn about the fort’s self-sufficient systems, including its ingenious water storage and massive granaries. The market area provides a glimpse into daily life centuries ago, while the mighty cannons remind us of the fort’s formidable defenses. After a day of exploring Raigad, we travel to Murud Beach, where the children can enjoy playing in the sand and watching a beautiful sunset. The day concludes with a restful night at our stay in Murud.

Day 3: Janjira Fort - The Invincible Sea Fortress
Our final day begins with an exciting boat ride to Janjira, the majestic sea fort rising from the Arabian Sea. Explore the fort's massive walls, intricate carvings, underground tunnels and marvel at the massive Kalal Bangdi cannon while hearing tales of thrilling naval battles. Learn about the Siddi rulers who built this maritime marvel and their strategic dominance over the Arabian Sea. After a fascinating exploration of Janjira Fort, indulge in a delicious Konkani lunch in Murud. Post Lunch, we head back to Pune, carrying memories of three magnificent forts and countless stories of bravery, wisdom, and innovation.
