The Pench Tiger Reserve is home to two of the most magnificent felines of the forest – the Tiger and the Leopard. Beyond them, Pench offers a rich cast of wildlife, including Jungle Cat, Indian Wild Dog (Dhole), Hyena, Jackal, Indian Gaur, and many more species that make every safari exciting and unpredictable.

      What Participants Will Learn

      This camp blends adventure with learning, helping participants:

    • Understand Forest Ecosystems – Learn how predators, prey, vegetation and water sources interact to create a balanced ecosystem.
    • Identify Key Species – Recognise and differentiate between common mammals, birds and tracks seen in Pench.
    • Build Observation & Patience – Develop the ability to wait, watch and read subtle signs in the wild, improving focus and attention to detail.
    • Appreciate Conservation – Understand the importance of protecting tigers, leopards and their habitats, and discuss real conservation challenges in Central India.
    • Practice Field Skills – Make basic field notes, note behaviours, and learn to document sightings like a young naturalist.
    • Gain Confidence & Independence – Travel in a structured, supervised setting away from home, building confidence, teamwork and responsibility.
    Itinerary

    Day 1: Pune - Nagpur- Pench
    Participants meet at Pune Railway Station to board the Pune–Ajni Vande Bharat Express (Chair Car – CC) at 06:25 hrs. This daytime train journey is comfortable and fully supervised. Arriving at Ajni (Nagpur) around 18:25 hrs, the group travels by private AC vehicles to Pench. After checking into the resort, an introduction session and wildlife orientation will get everyone ready for the exciting safaris ahead. Overnight at Pench.

    Day 2: Safaris at Pench – Discovering Wildlife & Forest
    The day starts with an early-morning jungle safari in the Pench Tiger Reserve. This is a chance to explore Mowgli’s land and spot various animals and birds. Participants will enjoy a packed breakfast right inside the forest at a special spot, making the experience even more immersive. After returning to the resort, the group heads out for an afternoon safari in a different part of the park. In the evening, there will be a special talk with local guides to learn about the plants, animals, and traditions of the area. Overnight at Pench.

    Day 3: Safaris at Pench– Learning & Observing in the Wild
    Participants continue their exploration with morning and afternoon safaris in Pench.These safaris give many chances to use what they've learned – like identifying animals and understanding jungle sounds. In the evening, everyone gathers for a knowledge-sharing session to discuss their observations from all the safaris. This session will also include an exciting talk about protecting wildlife and the forest. Overnight at Pench.

    Day 4: Pench - Nagpur - Pune 
    After breakfast, participants check out of the resort and travel back to Ajni (Nagpur) in private AC vehicles. The Ajni–Pune Vande Bharat Express (Chair Car – CC) at 09:50 hrs for the daytime return journey to Pune. This comfortable, supervised travel allows for relaxation and sharing of camp memories.Arrival at Pune Railway Station is expected around 21:50 hrs, marking the end of the camp.
