Fort Raigad, The Capital of "Swarajya" built by Shivaji Maharaj is located in Raigad District. The fort has witnessed so many important historical events in Maratha History like "The Coronation of Shivaji Maharaj" as well as "His last breath". The buildings & structures on the fort include Rajwada, Ranivasa, Rajsabha, Nagarkhana, Nagarpeth, Samadhi of Shivaji Maharaj, Wadeshwar Temple, Takmak Tok, Maha Darwaja, Gangasagar, Hatti Talav, Kushavarta Lake and so on. The fort offers great views of Sahyadri Range, Kokandiva, Rajgad, Torna, Lingana, Kal River etc.
Visiting Raigad with Prof P. K. Ghanekar is surely going to be a worth experience. 

Harihareshwar:

Harihareshwar is a pilgrimage centre located on the Seashore in Raigad District. River Savitri Originates in Mahabaleshwar and meets Arabian Sea in the town of Harihareshwar. The place is also famous for its beautiful beach & natural rock carvings formed due to the Sea waves.

Diveagar: (Note - Accommodation is very basic dormitory style on multi-sharing basis)

Another beautiful place on the Seashore said to have governed by the Sheelahar Dynasty from 800 A.D to 1265 A.D. Diveagar is calm and rich in nature. Popular attractions of Diveagar is the Beach, Suvarna Ganesh and mouth watering Konkani Cuisines.

1400 - 2000 hrs: Raigad Exploration + Sunset (Tea Break in between)
