The Rishikesh Multi‑Activity Camp is designed for students who love variety and action. Across six days, participants will:

  • Experience the adrenaline of white‑water rafting on the Ganges, navigating Grade II–III rapids under expert supervision
  • Soar on a 400‑metre zip‑line across the Ganga, with sweeping views of the river and surrounding hills
  • Hike through forest trails, villages and streams to a scenic waterfall, with time to relax and play

  • Accommodation is in tents on a multiple‑sharing basis – a camp‑style stay, not hotel rooms.
  • Facilities are simple, comfortable and functional, aligned with an outdoor camp program, not with a resort holiday.
  • The camp is centred around adventure activities – rafting, hiking, zip‑lining and a wildlife safari – along with group games and riverside time.

    -Basics of white‑water rafting on the Ganges: understanding raft commands, paddling as a team and staying calm in rapids.

    -Correct use of life jackets, helmets and safety gear; what to do if someone falls into the water.

    -Safe behaviour near a mountain river – no unsupervised entry, respecting currents and boundaries.

    Adventure & Zipline Confidence

    -How to prepare for a high zipline: harnessing, listening to instructions and managing fear of heights.

    -Building self‑confidence by completing the 400‑metre zipline over the Ganges under expert supervision.

    Hiking, Trails & Outdoor Awareness

    -Walking on forest and riverside trails: pacing, maintaining a line, staying with the group and following a route to the waterfall.

    -Observing Himalayan foothill ecosystems – forests, river valleys, streams and local village life.

    -Importance of hydration, sun protection and appropriate footwear on hikes.

    Wildlife, Conservation & Responsible Tourism

    -Introduction to Rajaji National Park: habitat, major species (elephants, deer, birds, etc.) and why protected areas matter.

    -How to behave on a jeep safari – maintaining silence, not disturbing animals and following guide instructions.

    -Basic ideas of wildlife conservation and being a responsible visitor in a national park.

    Camping, Group Living & Discipline

    -Tent / camp living: keeping shared spaces tidy, managing personal gear, respecting lights‑out and wake‑up timings.

    -Understanding and following a camp schedule – mealtimes, activities, rest and briefings.

    -Practising camp hygiene and simple “leave no trace” behaviour: not littering, careful use of water, keeping the campsite clean.

    Teamwork, Communication & Social Skills

    -Working as a team in the raft, during games and group activities.

    -Taking small leadership roles – group leader for a game, timekeeper, tent in‑charge.

    -Building friendships and confidence by interacting with peers from different schools and backgrounds.

    Independence & Confidence Away from Home

    -Managing one’s own belongings (cap, water bottle, day‑pack, rainwear, etc.) without constant reminders.

    -Gaining confidence by successfully completing multiple adventure activities in a new environment.

    -Handling a multi‑day trip away from home – travel, stay, activities – and returning with a sense of achievement.

    Itinerary

    Day 1: Fly to Delhi – Proceed to Rishikesh – Camp Arrival & Orientation
    Board the morning flight from Pune to Delhi. Upon arrival, proceed to Rishikesh by a chartered AC bus.Lunch en route. Arrive at the riverside campsite by afternoon. Tent allocation followed by a briefing session.Engage in an ice-breaking session with fun introductory games. Evening free time followed by dinner.Overnight stay at Rishikesh.

    Day 2: First Rafting Session - Group Activities
    Post breakfast, head for your first thrilling rafting session on the Ganges. Safety briefing and equipment check by expert instructors before taking on the rapids. Experience the excitement of navigating through the white waters. Return to the campsite for lunch. Enjoy fun group games in the evening. Overnight stay at Rishikesh.

    Day 3: Half-day hike along the Ganges
    After breakfast, set out on the Hike, a scenic trail through forests, charming villages, and streams. Enjoy the serene beauty of the Himalayan foothills and the chance to spot local wildlife. Return to the campsite for lunch. Evening is free for relaxation. Dinner followed by a briefing for the next day’s activities. Overnight stay at Rishikesh.

    Day 4: Second Rafting Session – Jungle Safari at Rajaji National Park
    Post breakfast, depart for the second rafting session on the Ganges. Conquer the rapids and try cliff jumping (subject to safety and water conditions). Lunch at a campsite in Shivpuri. Post lunch, proceed to Rajaji National Park for an exciting jungle safari. Explore the rich biodiversity of the forest. Return to the campsite by evening. Overnight stay at Rishikesh.

    Day 5: Zip-Line over the Ganges – Camp Closing Ceremony
    Post breakfast, head to Shivpuri for a thrilling Zipline adventure over the Ganges. Return to the campsite for lunch. Free time to relax and pack. In the evening, participate in the Camp Closing Ceremony followed by high tea and group interactions. Overnight stay at Rishikesh.

    Day 6: Return to Delhi – Fly Back to Pune
    Post an early breakfast, check out from the campsite and proceed to Delhi by AC bus.Lunch en route.Arrive at Delhi Airport and board the flight back to Pune with beautiful memories.
