      What Participants Will Learn

      By the end of the Tadoba Wildlife Camp, participants will have:

    • Enhanced wildlife observation skills – how to look, listen, and notice patterns in the forest.
    • An understanding of key Tadoba species – tiger, leopard, sloth bear, wild dog, gaur, and various bird species.
    • Basic knowledge of tracks, signs, and alarm calls, and how forest guides use them to find animals.
    • A clearer picture of how a tiger reserve works – protection, tourism, local communities, and rules.
    • Greater independence and responsibility, travelling with a group, following safety instructions, and managing their own belongings.
    • A more profound respect for conservation, and why preserving habitats like Tadoba matters for India and the planet.
    Itinerary

    Day 1: Pune – Nagpur – Tadoba
    Participants meet at Pune Railway Station to board the Pune–Ajni Vande Bharat Express (Chair Car – CC) at 06:00 hrs. This daytime train journey is comfortable and fully supervised by camp leaders.
    Arriving at Ajni (Nagpur) around 18:25 hrs, the group then travels by private AC vehicles to Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve. The group is expected to reach the resort late in the evening (approx. 21:00 hrs). After check-in and dinner, a brief introduction session and wildlife orientation will be conducted to cover the basic rules and safety guidelines for the safaris ahead. Overnight at Tadoba.

    Day 2: Safaris at Tadoba – Discovering Tigers & Forest Life (Two Safaris)
    The day starts with an early-morning jungle safari in Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve. This is a great opportunity to explore one of Maharashtra’s finest tiger reserves and look for tigers, leopards, sloth bears, wild dogs, deer, and a variety of birds. Participants enjoy a packed breakfast at a designated spot inside the forest, making the experience even more immersive.
    After returning to the resort and resting for a while, the group heads out for a second safari in the afternoon in a different zone of the park. This maximises opportunities for varied sightings. In the evening, there will be a special interactive session with the camp leaders to learn more about the animals, plants, and unique ecology of Tadoba. Overnight at Tadoba.

    Day 3: Tadoba – Final Safari, Reflection & Nature Learning
    Participants begin the day with their final morning safari in Tadoba. This last drive offers one more chance to spot wildlife and apply what they’ve learned – identifying animals, listening to alarm calls, and noticing patterns in behaviour and habitat use.
    After returning to the resort, there is time for lunch and relaxation. The afternoon is dedicated to indoor nature learning sessions and reflection. Everyone gathers for a knowledge-sharing session to discuss their observations from all three safaris. This session also includes an engaging discussion on wildlife conservation, threats to tiger habitats, and how protected areas like Tadoba help safeguard biodiversity. Overnight at Tadoba.

    Day 4: Tadoba – Nagpur – Pune

    Participants will leave for Nagpur in private AC vehicles with a packed breakfast to board the train. We will board the Ajni–Pune Vande Bharat Express (CC) at 09:30 hrs. This comfortable, supervised daytime journey allows everyone to relax, share memories, and reflect on their wildlife experiences. Expected arrival at Pune Railway Station is at 21:50 hrs, marking the end of the Tadoba Wildlife Camp.

    • Mineral water / cold drinks during the journey or at the campsite.
