Know Before You Book: What to Expect
Before you hit that 'Book Now' button, here's a quick rundown to make sure it's the right fit:
This is an adventure and trekking camp – an authentic outdoor experience, not a luxury holiday.
The camp fee excludes airfare; flights to and from Delhi are to be booked and paid for separately.
The trip requires a moderate level of fitness, with daily walks and treks on mountain trails.
The itinerary includes overnight travel by AC Volvo coach to and from Dharamshala.
This is not a typical sightseeing tour; sightseeing is limited and the main focus is trekking and outdoor learning.
Accommodation is basic – in shared tents / simple dormitories – offering a back-to-basics, close-to-nature experience.
Washrooms and other facilities are simple and functional, in line with camping conditions, not hotel or resort standards.
The core focus of the camp is on adventure activities, being in nature, and experiencing the joy and challenge of camping in the mountains, possibly with snow depending on conditions.
