Itinerary

Day 1 : Fly to Delhi airport - Delhi Local Sightseeing - Proceed to Manali
Flight to Delhi. Post lunch, local sightseeing in Delhi till evening. Proceed to Manali in the late evening by AC Volvo. Dinner enroute. Overnight bus journey to Manali.

Day 2 : Reach Manali - Acclimatization trek
Reach base camp at Shuru village in Manali by early morning. Get introduced to fellow campers. In the evening, leave for acclimatization trek via Sharvani Devi Temple to Arjun Gufa. This trek is easy, it is just to check one's physical stamina and also to get used to the height and climate. Return to base camp.
Overnight stay at Shuru base camp.

Day 3 : Base Camp Shuru - Camp 1: Hamta Hills (8,360 Ft.) Trek time : 03 hrs.
The first day’s trek to camp Hamta Hills via Jamadagni Rishi Temple. Travel through beautiful apple orchards and forests of blue pine, cedar, oak, fir and chestnut. Reach campsite, lunch and rest. 

Later in the evening, leave for a short height gain trek in continuation to our efforts to acclimatize better to the region. We follow the principle of ‘Go Higher, Sleep Lower’ throughout the trek. Overnight stay at Hamta Hills camp.

Day 4 : Camp 1: Hamta Hills – Camp 2: Kharimindiyari/ Soroutoo (10,230 Ft.) Trek time : 04 hrs.
The trek starts with a walk at a moderate pace at the start, through a forest of silver fir, bhujpattar, oak, and chestnut. From the camp, there is an enchanting view of the Dhauladhar range and its lofty mountain peaks - Hanuman Tibba, Shikhar-bay, Maker-bay, and Friendship peaks. From the campsite you can also have a full view of Chanderkhani Pass and the Malana valley. Camp under the starry skies and enjoy an energetic round of group activities. Overnight stay at Kharimindiyari campsite.

Day 5 : Half day exploration at Camp 2: Kharimindiyari Camp (10,230 Ft.) - Trek down to Camp 1: Hamta Hills (8,360 Ft.) Trek time : 03 hrs.
Early morning wake up call, followed by a fun session of warm-up exercises. Post breakfast, trek up to an altitude of 10,330 ft. to reach the snow and glide down the snow-clad slopes. After enjoying an epic snow fight, return to campsite. Freshen up and descend down to Camp 1 at Hamta Hills. Later in the evening, get set to enjoy the thrill of rope-based adventure activities. Overnight stay Hamta Hills campsite.

Day 6 : Camp 1: Hamta Hills – Shuru Base camp. Trek time:  2.5 hrs.
An easy walk takes you to the Shuru Base camp from Hamta Hills with a descent of 2.5 hrs on the steepest section. The zigzag route till Jamdagni Rishi Temple through apple orchards is indeed a sight to behold! Overnight stay at Shuru Base camp.

Day 7 : Shopping at Manali Mall  Road - Depart for Delhi
Wake - up call followed by breakfast. Morning at leisure. Post lunch, go on a shopping spree to the colourful markets on Manali Mall road. Late afternoon, leave for Delhi by AC Volvo coach. Overnight bus journey to Delhi.

Day 8 : Arrival at Delhi and return journey by flight
Arrive in Delhi early morning and transfer to Delhi Airport. Return journey by flight.

Camp Charges

Early Bird Camp Fees : Rs.31,000/- + 5% GST per person
(Only for first 10 bookings (per departure) valid till 15th Dec 2019, applicable to camps travelling by flight.)

Dynamic Camp Fees : Select your departure date to check the best available DCF of the day.
(Dynamic Camp Fees (DCF) will ensure that you get the best airfare at all times. The airfare on the day of your booking will be applied to you. The closer to the camp date you book, the higher will be the airfare.)

Inclusions/Exclusions

What is included in the tour

  • Charges for air travel from Mumbai/Pune to Delhi and back.
  • Delhi - Manali - Delhi travel by AC Volvo coach.
  • Food charges for entire duration of camp (except at the airport).
  • Accommodation in tents at base camp and all higher campsites on multiple sharing basis. (Separate tents for boys and girls).
  • Charges for all the adventure activities mentioned in the itinerary.
  • Manali Mall Road Visit.
  • Travel Insurance for every participant.

What is NOT included in the tour

  • Mineral water bottle / cold drinks / beverages during journey or at the campsite.
  • Personal expenditure of any kind (Porterage, Telephone, Laundry, Room service, etc if applicable).
  • Medical Expenses if any / if incurred.
