Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Leh and Acclimatization
Upon arrival at Leh airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to rest and acclimatize to the high altitude of Leh. In the evening, you can take a short walk around the local market. Overnight at the hotel in Leh.

Day 2: Leh Local Sightseeing  (Altitude: approx. 11,200 ft)
After breakfast, visit Thiksey Monastery to witness the Maitreya temple with a 49 feet high statue covering two stories of the building. Later, visit Shey Palace, and then return to Leh for lunch. After lunch, visit the Hall of Fame Museum and Shanti Stupa to witness the beautiful setting sun. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley (Approx. 126 km, 5-6 hrs drive, Altitude: approx. 10,300 ft)
After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world. Enroute, enjoy the spectacular views of the Zanskar range across the Indus Valley in the south and the Saser massif in the north. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and have lunch. In the evening, visit the famous sand dunes of Ladakh in Hunder. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Nubra Valley.

Day 4: Visit to Baltistani Village - Turtuk (Altitude: approx. 10,300 ft)
After breakfast, proceed to Turtuk, a unique Balti village situated on the border of India and Pakistan. Explore the village on foot and experience their unique culture and cuisine. In the evening, return to your hotel in Nubra Valley for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake (Altitude: approx. 14,000 ft)
After breakfast, drive to Pangong Lake, the world's highest saltwater lake. Enjoy the stunning beauty of the lake and the surrounding landscapes. Lunch will be served en route to the lake. In the evening, check into your deluxe tented camp by the lake for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6:  Pangong Lake to Leh (Altitude: approx. 11,200 ft)
Wake up early to witness a beautiful sunrise over the lake. After breakfast, drive back to Leh via the Chang La Pass, another one of the highest motorable roads in the world. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and spend the evening shopping in the local market. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

Day 7: Hemis Monastery Visit
After breakfast, visit Hemis Monastery, one of the oldest and largest monasteries in Ladakh. In the evening, witness the light and sound show at the Hall of Fame. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Departure from Leh
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and transfer to the Leh airport for your onward journey.
