Dudhwa is one of the finest example of a true Terai ecosystem. The park stands tall along the Indo-Nepal border and is home to a variety of endangered species like the Hispid hare and the Indian rhinoceros. Dudhwa also has nearly half the world population of Barasingha, making it the perfect spotting ground for a herd of these deer. It is also one of the best places to spot the Indian Tiger, swamp deer, barking deer, sloth bear, jackals, jungle cat, leopards, and civets.
Dudhwa is a paradise for birdwatchers as well, with over 350 species of birds, including the rare Bengal Florican, Swamp Francolin, Great Slaty Woodpecker, white-rumped vulture, and others like barbet, orioles, cormorants, and drongos.

Day 1 : Travel to Delhi - Lucknow
Travel to Delhi by flight. Arrive in Delhi and proceed to New Delhi Railway Station to board train for Lucknow at 2325 hours. Overnight train journey.

Day 2: Arrive at Lucknow - Proceed to Dudhwa - Evening Safari
Reach Lucknow railway station at 0730 hours. Proceed to Dudhwa by AC vehicles. Arrival at Dudhwa for lunch. An introduction session for participants post lunch, followed by an orientation session where they get their first glimpse of the Terai landscape of Dudhwa. Evening Safari in Kishanpur. Group discussion on the various observations made during the safari and insights from nature experts. Overnight stay at Dudhwa.

Day 3 : Safaris at Dudhwa
Morning safari in Kishanpur. Interactive knowledge-sharing session about the observations made in the previous two safaris. Evening Safari in Dudhwa. An information-sharing session by nature experts, with detailed insights about the wildlife of Dudhwa. Dinner and overnight stay at Dudhwa.

Day 4 : Safaris at Dudhwa
Morning Safari in Dudhwa (Elephant Ride, if possible). An introduction to taking field notes in a scientific manner, while observing nature. Post lunch, safari in Dudhwa. Knowledge-sharing sessions on importance of conservation and the need for sustainable coexistence will be discussed. Overnight stay at Dudhwa.

Day 5 : Morning Safari & Leave for Lucknow
One last safari in Kishanpur, which will give participants a chance to reflect upon their learnings and be in a better position to understand the forest. Departure to Lucknow after lunch. Reach Lucknow by evening. Board the train at 2330 hours. Overnight train journey.

Day 6 : Delhi - Return journey by flight
Early morning arrival in New Delhi Railway Station at 0730 hours & transfer to Delhi Airport. Return journey by flight.
