Explore and Learn is the motto of this 5 days program filled with enriching experiences. ‘I Explore with Foliage Outdoors’ offers a first-hand experiential learning opportunity to young children. Our team of mentors will guide the children while they explore unique habitats, jungles and wetlands around Pune. The experiences during the day will help them appreciate the diversity of habitats, animals, birds, butterflies, insects, reptiles, plants, trees, geography, geology and other domains.
The I Explore Program will include 3 Day visits to 6 different habitats around Pune with 1 overnight stay. Children will visit a Grassland, an Evergreen Forest, a Wetland, a Scrubland, a Coastal ecosystem and a Mangrove Forest. Read on the itinerary to know more.

Explore the Wetland, and observe the Flamingos (A Day Visit) |

| 0645 Hrs: | Depart for Bhigwan with breakfast enroute. |
| 1000 Hrs: | Reach Bhigwan and Explore the Wetland Ecosystem on a boat and on foot. Kids will be able to watch many waterbirds closely and also have a great chance to see the magnificent Flamingos. Observe the wildlife and interconnections of various natural elements of the Rich Wetland. |
| 1300 Hrs: | Lunch. |
| 1330-1430 Hrs: | Interaction with locals and various learning exercises. |
| 1500 Hrs: | Depart for Pune. |
| 1630 Hrs: | Break for hi-tea and washrooms. |
| 1830 Hrs: | Return to Foliage Outdoors Office, Kothrud |

| Day 2 | Explore the Evergreen Forest, observe life in a Sacred Grove (A Day Visit) |

| 0645 Hrs: | Depart for the evergreen forests of the Tamhini region with breakfast en route. |
| 1000 Hrs: | Reach Tamhini and Explore the Evergreen forest on foot. Kids will be able to observe various natural elements of the Evergreen Forests. This forest is also a great place to see the origin of a river. |
| 1300 Hrs: | Lunch. |
| 1330-1430 Hrs: | Interaction with locals and various learning exercises. |
| 1500 Hrs: | A visit to a sacred grove will complete the Exploration. |
| 1600 Hrs: | Depart for Pune. |
| 1630 Hrs: | Break for hi-tea and washrooms. |
| 1800 Hrs: | Return to Foliage Outdoors Office, Kothrud |

| 1100 Hrs: | Reach Rehekuri and Explore the Sanctuary. Observe the wildlife and interconnections of various natural elements of this grassland habitat famous for the Blackbucks. |
| 1300 Hrs: | Lunch. |
| 1330-1430 Hrs: | Interaction with locals, Forest Department officials and various learning exercises. |
| 1500 Hrs: | Depart for Pune. |
| 1630 Hrs: | Break for hi-tea and washrooms. |
| 1830 Hrs: | Return to Foliage Outdoors Office, Kothrud |

| Day 4 | Explore the Beach and Coastal wildlife (An overnight stay) |

| 0645 Hrs: | Depart for Velas via the evergreen forests of the Tamhini region with a breakfast enroute. |
| 1200 Hrs: | Reach Velas and check-in to a homestay. |
| 1300 Hrs: | Lunch and rest. |
| 1500-1600 Hrs: | Interaction with locals and various learning exercises. |
| 1630 Hrs: | A visit to a beach and Exploration to see various natural elements. Konkan beaches offer the best chance to see coastal birdlife that includes White-bellied Sea Eagle, Brahminy Kite, various species of Gulls, Waders, Kingfishers etc. The evening on the beach will also offer a chance to know the rich life of shells, Conchs, Sea Urchins, Jellyfish, Crabs and much more. |
| 1900 Hrs: | Know more about the Turtle Conservation project at Velas. |
| 2000 Hrs: | Dinner and overnight stay at Velas. |

| Day 5 | Explore the Mangrove Forest, observe the unique plants and animals that grow in a unique ecosystem (Explore and travel back to Pune) |

| 0700 Hrs: | One more early morning round of the beach to see the coastal life. |
| 0800 Hrs: | Breakfast and leave for the Mangrove Ecosystem. |
| 0900 - 1100 Hrs: | Explore and appreciate the unique plants and animals in the Mangrove Forest. |
| 1200 Hrs: | Return to Velas for Lunch. |
| 1330 Hrs: | Depart for Pune. |
| 1630 Hrs: | Break for hi-tea and washrooms. |
