Lodged in the lap of the lofty cliffs, the campsite at Kamshet lies close to the backwaters of the Thokarwadi Dam. The backdrop of dense forest offers an additional element of intrigue.  

Enjoy the thrill of adventure activities like rock climbing, rappelling, zip-line, go trekking to an ancient cave and a wide range of exciting group games. Participants also get to learn valuable outdoor survival skills that will be immensely useful for future camping trips.

    Itinerary

    Day 1: Pune to Kamshet

    Report at Foliage Outdoors office on Karve Road and leave for the campsite by a private chartered vehicle. Reach the campsite and have breakfast. Post breakfast, assemble for tent allocation followed by Do’s and Don’ts while on the camp. Orientation session regarding overall plan of activities for the entire duration of camp. Post Lunch and rest, learn the concept of “Leave No Trace” and it’s 7 principles.

    Evening free time. Dinner followed by the next day’s brief. Overnight stay in tents.

    Day 2: Adventure Activities 

    Wake up and freshen up. Post breakfast, get ready for the hike which leads us to the base of an ancient cave. Learn to navigate in the wilderness and plan the trek route for the next day’s event. Clear the route and mark it. 

    Return to the campsite for Lunch and rest. Brief introduction to the adventure gear used for various activities like Rappelling, Rock Climbing etc, gain more knowledge about the application of the equipment and its importance. Free time in the evening. Dinner. Overnight stay in tents.

    Day 3: Hike - Cave Exploration - Adventure Activities 

    Kickstart your day with a fun warm-up session and freshen-up. Post breakfast, get ready for the hike which leads us to the base of an ancient cave which we will be exploring today. Rock climb your way to the cave and explore. Once done, rappel down and abseil and reach the base. Imply the 7 principles of LNT, gather all equipment and return to the campsite. Arrive at the camp and rest. Free time in the evening followed by a brief of the next day. Dinner. Overnight stay in tents.

    Day 4: Survival-skills training

    Early morning wake up call. Post breakfast, session on tent pitching, navigation skills, and backpacking. Post lunch, apply the skills learnt in the morning on a trek and get a taste of survival camping in the great outdoors. After setting up the campsite, bring out the MasterChef within you and try your hand at tasty dishes in an outdoor cooking session.This session will be followed by a night trail around the campsite. Night will be spent camping under the stars. Overnight stay in alpine tents.

    Day 5: Trek back to base camp - Design Rafts 

    Wake up and indulge in the tea and breakfast making process. Post breakfast, wind up the campsite and also imply the 7 principles of LNT. Reach campsite, rest and lunch. Post lunch, learn about Raft Building and get oriented to the equipment needed for this activity. Team up and plan for the design of rafts. Free time in the evening followed by a briefing of the next day.
    Dinner and lights off. Overnight stay in tents.

    Day 6: Raft building and rowing

    Post breakfast, learn the technique of building a raft and build one too. Post Lunch and rest, head to the lake along with the rafts. After a safety brief, instructions and safety check of the rafts, lower the rafts into the water. Enjoy the thrill of rafting and rowing using paddles. 

    Imply the 7 principles of LNT, gather all equipment and return to the campsite. Leisure time. Dinner and Briefing of the next day. Overnight stay in tents.

    Day 7 : Nature trail at the lake -  Camp closing - Return to Pune

    Wake up and leave for a nature trail along the lake. Return to the campsite for breakfast followed by free time for packing. Have lunch, enjoy the camp closing ceremony and click group pictures with your new friends.

    Leave from the campsite for Pune. Reach Pune by 1730 hrs.

    • Pune to Pune escorted trip. 
    • Stay for 5 nights in tents with attached toilets on multiple sharing basis.
