Itinerary

Day 1 : Fly to Delhi airport - Delhi Local Sightseeing - Proceed to Dharamshala
Flight to Delhi. Post lunch, local sightseeing in Delhi till evening. Late evening, proceed to Dharamshala by AC Volvo coach. Lunch and Dinner enroute. Overnight bus journey to Dharamshala.

Day 2 : Reach Dharamshala - Acclimatization trek to the tea gardens
Arrive early morning in Dharamshala and transfer to campsite.
Reach campsite, allocation of tents and time for freshening up, followed by breakfast.
Post lunch, introduction activities and orientation session followed by a short acclimatization trek to the tea gardens. This will help participants adjust to the climate and provide a chance to take in the beautiful surroundings. Get a glimpse of the local culture with a visit the Indru Nag Temple at sunset, an ancient temple constructed by the locals.
Dinner and overnight stay at Dharamshala.

Day 3 : Adventure Activities at the campsite
Post breakfast, gear up to enjoy a day full of rope-based adventure activities and team games. Rope adventures will delight the adventure enthusiast in you while team games are a perfect way to develop your coordination skills. Make new friends, discover the leader in you, and build your self-confidence as you participate in these fun activities!

Day 4 : Survival Camping
Learn basic outdoor survival skills that are a must for any outdoor adventurer. The first session is on tent pitching, map-reading, navigation skills, and backpacking. Find out what it takes to survive in the great outdoors and let the explorer in you surface!
Post lunch, leave for outdoor camping. Indulge in outdoor cooking, making imaginative use of the materials on hand. Get into the spirit of your very own outdoor MasterChef challenge! Here you will get a chance to make practical use of the skills learnt in the earlier session. And guess what? You get to pitch your own tents, too!

Day 5 : Trek back to Dharamshala base camp
Post breakfast, it is time for an exciting river-crossing activity. A thrilling experience in itself that is sure to get your adrenaline pumping. Transfer to the campsite by vehicle, a treasure trove of memories and useful outdoor skills in tow. Post lunch, unwind through a round of fun-filled group games at the campsite.

Day 6 : Local sightseeing and shopping at McLeodganj - Depart for Delhi
Post breakfast, leave for local sightseeing - Dharamshala Cricket Stadium, Norbulingka institute.
After enjoying a Tibetan lunch, utilize the free time to visit Mcleodganj - Monastery & Bazaar. You can also explore the rustic beauty of this Himalayan town as you stroll through the lanes in your leisure time. In the evening, board the Volvo for an overnight travel to Delhi.

Day 7 : Arrival at Delhi and return journey by flight
Arrive in Delhi early morning and transfer to Delhi Airport. Return journey by flight.

What is included in the tour

  • Charges for air travel from Mumbai/Pune to Delhi and back.
  • Delhi - Dharamshala and McLeodganj - Delhi journey by AC Volvo coach.
  • All meals starting from lunch on day 1 to lunch on day 7.
  • Tented accommodation at Dharamshala and at riverside camping on multiple sharing basis (separate tents for boys and girls).
